About
I am an multi Award winning DOP / Documentary cameraman, working predominantly in natural history, adventure and science documentary programs.
This work has taken me to over 30 countries around the world – frequently working in extreme natural environments from jungles to deserts. Over the last 20 years I have worked on many land mark series for the BBC, National Geographic, Discovery, Animal Planet etc...
Currently im DOP on 2 of the Programs for BBC ones Dynasties Season 2 natural history production, and was DOP for BBC Dynasties Season 1 ‘Chimpanzee’ (currently a finalist for Jackson Hole, cinematography and Animal Behaviour, also filming on Lions and tigers, and one of the Principal DOP’s on National Geographics ‘Hostile Planet’. I also won a Bafta for cinematography on BBC's 'Planet Earth 2', and im currently DOP on a Disney Nature wildlife Feature film.
I am skilled in lighting and sync filming techniques as well as blue chip film making and i'm able to use a range of specialist equipment such as:

I Won a Bafta Award for Cinematography 2017, Mark MacEwen, Rob Whitworth and John Aitchison.
Plant Earth 2, Islands Program
Won an Emmy for cinematography for the Islands Program of which i was the principal cinematographer
Won Award of Excellence for Cinematography from the Guild of Television Cameramen. 2017

Urban Program was Winner of Cinematography at the International Wildlife Film Festival, in Missoula.
Series won Emmy for Cinematography 2012.
